A party and a mustache

I feel bad because we crashed Miss Amelia's 1st birthday when we were over there.  We did have a mini party though and opened presents.

She was into it.

Soft things.

We gave her this noisy thing and it actually helped a little in the car rides. We could all quote it by the end. 

Oh yeah.

She got this cute hat and Jason was really working to get it on her.

 Almost....

 Boom!

...Then she immediately took it off.

We had a super delicious dinner of grilled chicken wings and pizza. See how excited he is to cook for us.?!

Out on the back patio with the rain gently leaking on us. Well, mostly just on Stacy.

Then we had to move the fire pit.

And then Mitch shaved his slight beard into a weirdo mustache in honor of Movember. You will see more of this monstrosity in the next batch of pictures when we venture to Prague!

 

* I forgot to mention that Kenna took me for a run while we were there. First we went through a forest near her house and it was SO pretty. It looked like an enchanted forest and any minute some fairies or gnomes would pop out. But we only saw some old guy that lives there like a hermit. Maybe he is magic. Anyway, then there was some seriously pretty farmland. It was so so green, and so so stinky. Those Germans know to use to strong manure for the best results. Anyway, I didn't want to forget that because it was a great run!
