After talking Kelly into extending her visit (poor sucker), we went up to Glacier Nat. Park. Mitch was working all weekend so he had to stay home. We've been there once before with the Machans (WOOT WOOT), but it was so rainy and cloudy we didn't get to see much. Not this time! The weather was nicer there than in Spokane! We left right after our Silverwood adventure (previous post) since we were already an hour out of town. That was a Friday and we had to be back for Sam's school on Monday, so it was a quick trip, bit totally worth it! I wish the pictures did it justice, but when you are there it is SO much better!
We saw some bears from our car, but I didn't get a good picture.
Right before we left we were down by the water and a storm was rolling in. Here is the view looking right...
..and here is looking left. It was very cool.
We stayed just outside the park where we did the last time we were there, but this time we stayed in a yurt.

So they have this program there for the kids where they do a packet of activities and questions and then bring it back to the Ranger Station and they get to be Junior Rangers. The boys loved this! They even get sworn in:
