We went to another part of the lake -Emerald Bay I think? -and then hiked down to the water.
So, so pretty.
At the bottom was this castle/mansion a lady had built here during the 30's
and some of us went on the tour.
Cousin! Hank, Sam, Jackson and Loni.
It was all done to be like a Swedish castle - very cool.
Then we went up to a waterfall which was very cool but I guess I didn't take pictures of that.
Look at the size of those pine cones though!
On the actual anniversary there was a program - the kids all sang a sweet song.
Kenna had a book made of letters from all their close friends and family - she read some favorite parts then. She also had a big family tree picture framed that was very pretty. Not only that, but she put together an amazing video of pictures of them over the years and had interviewed them with all kinds of stories. It was so good.
Anna Mae gave Boyd a gold watch and he gave her a beautiful diamond ring.
I love Sam's face in this one.
Awwwww. It was a great night.
Back on the beach - soaking up the sun. Hank & Ben.
Whitney braving the cold!
Graham being super cute. It's hard to tell in this one but his pants are up around his arm pits and made a perfect old man look.
Anna Mae and Boyd also had "Families can be Forever" key chains for everyone and the kids could tie up like a friendship bracelet.
So, every night the grown ups would play games - my favorite part! We had to sit around in the pool table so we could all fit. Mostly we played Del Moody.
Right before we were leaving, Mitch caught a little bunny from outside.
The kids all took turns getting to hold it before he was released back into the wild.
Oh, I found the missing hike pictures! There was a lake/pond at the end that was pretty. Graham was tired out - Can you see the sweet buttons that Whitney made for the everyone with a picture of the happy couple? Very cool.
Um. When did Mason grow up?!?!
Ben sans shoes as usual.
Mitch wanted to fish of course (Thank you Marc for the fly fishing obsession - I will kill you someday!) but there were SO many mosquitoes it was crazy! So we didn't stay too long.
Can you see him?
Amelia and Lottie had a good time playing in the water.
Only 1 more part left!

I freaking love reliving this. It was a fun time. Games were the best...so are grandpa pants on babies.
Taya looks so much like Kenna 20? years ago!
This trip doesn't look that pretty or cool or special or magical or fun.
