Road Trip

Last Thursday we drove to Iowa/Kansas City without stopping (except for gas/potty breaks of course). Crazy you say? Yes. Very. But we are crazy like that. Sam got to stay in Spokane with friends and was more than happy with the arrangement. I dropped Mitch off in Iowa to go deer hunting and then kept going with Ben and Miss Lottie to visit the Machans in KC. They BRUTALLY moved away in June and the withdrawals have been awful. Fortunately, Ben and Noah picked right up with their friendship and were completely entertained playing together. Their conversations are priceless!

Lottie didn't sleep at all, but other than that she had a good time.

We had a good time too...

Now I can unpack just in time to drive to AZ next week! (also not stopping)

p.s. Lindsey just had the cutest little boy, Will, a little over a month ago, but I'm dumb and didn't get any good pictures of him. Trust me though when I say he is so amazingly handsome!

p.p.s. On the way home when we went through Bozeman, we stopped and saw Mitch's cousin Ben at his diner. He was pretty surprised and we had a great breakfast there (BEST french toast I've ever had!). I meant to get a picture of him in the kitchen, but I chickened out because I didn't want him to think I was a weirdo. I am a weirdo, but still.
